We were delighted to welcome Joanne Ryan MP, Federal Member for Lalor, to Sunrise Family Medical Centre in Werribee. It was a real pleasure to show her around our bulk billing practice and introduce her to the team who care for local families every day.
Talking about the healthcare local families need
During the visit we spoke about the needs of general practice, how GPs and the wider community can work together, and the importance of universal bulk billing in keeping care affordable and accessible. These are everyday realities for the patients we see across Werribee and Hoppers Crossing, and it meant a great deal to share them directly with our local representative.
